4 systems EVERY creative entrepreneur needs
The Creative Internship Week 3: The Back Office: Systems for Sustainable Creative output
When I first quit my job I plummeted into anxiety and was paralyzed by overwhelm. It wasn’t the amount of work I was doing though, it was the chaos. Coupled with my ADHD, the stress of having a fast-growing business without any structure made me struggle HARD in the first 6 months or so! I was doing everything, all the time, with no off switch... until I created systems.
I used to think systems were rigid and would kill my creativity. But I’m here to tell ya that structure creates space and time for creativity to flourish. Heck, I wouldn’t be able to write these articles consistently if it weren’t for my systems!
If you want to become a thriving creativepreneur, you need a Back Office, one designed for ease. So, stick around because we’ve got just the one for you!
Welcome to The Daily Yes! We’re in a 10 week series called The Creative Internship: where I invited creative women to say YES to play, experimentation, and trying new things “out loud” to find out what they love and how to sustain their passions before diving into full-time entrepreneurship. I’m Isis — Harvard-certified business strategist, business owner, and aspiring romance novelist. Here, I help creatives put their big ideas into action, too! If you’d like to join the Internship, you can upgrade to a yearly paid subscription below! You’ll be able to join our coworking call tomorrow and instantly access the past two weeks’ Creative Briefs!
